Thanks!
Hi @nurmagoz
Can I also request:
-
new sdwdate-gui pics for screenshots page (and sdwdate-gui page) as the current one is 2017 version? Newer versions have slightly different menu options etc.
-
the Tor Browser download process pics (Tor Browser wiki page) show older versions when selecting which version to download in Whonix. It would be nice to have a fresh pic showing most recent versions e.g. 8.5.1 etc.
Sure just provide me with the links of these subjects.
Thanks. Pics in these sections:

The picture here is outdated (that big black warning arrow doesnāt appear anymore for the internal updater).
Is it possible to instead show a picture of Tor Browser updating itself i.e. in hamburger button in taskbar instead please
all the above have done. except:
What have changed with the newest version? i cant see the differences with tbb-downloader.
Could you please update Template:VirtualBox - Whonix since it still shows how to import dual VMs being imported. It does not cover unified ova.
Background: there was a comment on wiki page Whonix for Windows, macOS, Linux inside VirtualBox
This is confusing. 1. Which is the Gateway and which is the Workstation? You have two variants (CLI and Xfce) of downloads, but for what? Is it only the Gateway? If so, where is the Workstation? 2. The instructions still show the old style import into VirtualBox. First part for the Gateway, second for the Workstation. The instructions show the old style OVA files naming. The new files I downloaded only indicate CLI and XFCE.If the files I downloaded are only the Gateway, then (once again) where is the Workstation? Or is there something Iām missing here?
Done!
There is this line on the page:
Download Whonix ā¢ {{{flavor}}} for Windows , MacOS and Linux
{{{flavor}}} im not sure where it should referring to, hope you can fix it once you can.
Nothing to fix.
That page is template https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Template:
.
Thatās a variable.
The variable will be set by the wiki page which includes the template.
Template:VirtualBox - Whonix is not a wiki page that users view. It is used by other wiki pages. These:
Login required - Whonix
As you love internet chat tools, it is possible to get screenshots of:
- Gajim running in Whonix
- qTox running in Whonix
And add those images to these pages please?

torjunkie via Whonix Forum:
Thanks @nurmagoz
For some reason the figure in the following section went MIA. It used to show the Tor connection going through 3 relays etc. Any chance we could get a nice picture to replace that?
Can we please have the Secure Shell (SSH) logo added to this new and improved page please?
http://dds6qkxpwdeubwucdiaord2xgbbeyds25rbsgr73tbfpqpt4a6vjwsyd.onion/wiki/Ssh
It can be found here:
Actually, I found that image (the name had changed - now fixed). So donāt worry about that one.
Another logo request for our screenshot / snapper king
@nurmagoz Can we please have the Signal messenger logo inserted at the top of this page?
http://dds6qkxpwdeubwucdiaord2xgbbeyds25rbsgr73tbfpqpt4a6vjwsyd.onion/wiki/Signal
You would be an absolute star if we could get snapshots of the following applications operating in Whonix:
- Monero GUI
- Bisq
- OnionShare GUI
- Mumble VoIP application
- Wickr Me
- Freenet
- ZeroNet (e.g. browser snapshot of .bit domain)
Then, they can either be added to the individual wiki pages, or to the screenshots wiki page (and Iāll make sure to reflect them in both areas).
It would be Christmas in May if possible!
Yeah, I knowā¦ I never ask for little things, but the wiki is so much more beautiful with your snapshots & readers love it in general
OnionShare -> Fixed.
Wickr Me ā fixed
So that just leaves (at the moment):
- Bisq
- Mumble
- Zeronet
Although it would probably to good to also:
- Capture a picture (maybe just a non-copyright image from the Internet) re: logging into a captive portal for this page so users are clear what we are referring to:
- Capture a picture (non-copyright image) of a SSH Shell operating in Linux for this page:
http://www.dds6qkxpwdeubwucdiaord2xgbbeyds25rbsgr73tbfpqpt4a6vjwsyd.onion/wiki/Ssh
- Remmina logo for this page, as well as a (non-copyright image) of it operating in Linux:
See: https://remmina.org/
- Yacy logo for this page:
http://www.dds6qkxpwdeubwucdiaord2xgbbeyds25rbsgr73tbfpqpt4a6vjwsyd.onion/wiki/YaCy
- RSS logo for this page:
http://www.dds6qkxpwdeubwucdiaord2xgbbeyds25rbsgr73tbfpqpt4a6vjwsyd.onion/wiki/Rss
Iām sure there will be moreā¦
