Tor stable version question

In my Gateway I ran the following command tor -v output: Tor 0.4.7.13 After checking on the tor website I saw their latest version is 0.4.8.7 (source - torproject.or*/download/tor/) May I ask when will Whonix update tor to this version? On further research I think debian uses LTS Tor version so one assumes the answer is when they have updated the LTS version.

Hello. Now that Tor browser 13.0 is released with Tor 0.4.8.7, which enables traffic splitting (Conflux), do Whonix users (stuck on 0.4.7.13) stand out when observing clients on the network?
