I tried to. Built it and installed it just fine, but when I installed TOR browser I got the “tor browser requires a cpu with sse2 support, exiting” error and I couldn’t get over it

Check the build log around installation of the tb-updater package. Search for:

update-torbrowser

Could you please share the build log?

I suspect that Tor Browser has been downloaded for the wrong architecture.

Maybe Tor Browser AMD64 version has been downloaded and not ARM64 Tor Browser.

I did figure it out!!!
I downloaded an unofficial ARM port https://sourceforge.net/projects/tor-browser-ports/files/

Was Tor Browser not installed after building Whonix from source code?

Why not install Tor Browser using tb-updater (update-torbrowser)?

update-torbrowser doesn’t work. It detected 13.0.6 Tor version and print digital signature (GPG) could NOT be verified.
