Thanks. I think this is a bug in Debian upstream; ~~the upgrade path for LibreOffice seems broken due to omitted Replaces: data.~~ Edit: Talked to some of the upstream maintainers, the issue is actually that apt-get’s --simulate option is solving the dependencies in a slightly different way than it would when actually installing. So even though the real upgrade would probably work, the simulated upgrade fails.

Can you uninstall everything LibreOffice-related from the system, then attempt the upgrade again? Once the upgrade is complete and you have rebooted once, you can install LibreOffice again. Please make sure to backup or snapshot the VM before you do this, in case anything else goes wrong.
