I apologize for the basic question.
Why is the removal of the lengthy and complicated Tor Browser settings recommended in “Prevent Bypassing of the Tunnel-Link” instead of installing and using the Mullvad browser?
I remember that the Mullvad browser is essentially a version of the Tor browser without Tor. It has the Mullvad and uBlock add-ons installed, but if those are removed, the fingerprint should be similar to that of the Tor browser. Installing the Mullvad browser on Whonix is also straightforward.
By connecting in the order of anon-whonix → VPN-Gateway → sys-whonix and running the Mullvad browser within anon-whonix, I was able to easily connect to the VPN after Tor.
What is the intention behind using the Tor browser by removing the proxy settings file instead of using the Mullvad browser?
I used Qubes OS.
