Please answer the questions that whonixcheck asked, that you just saw in that window.

Don’t use all upper case.

  1. the host internet connection is working

  2. says whonix gateway will need a few moments for bootstrapping the tor network and never does

  3. I did start whonix-gateway beforehand

RECOMMENDATIONS

  1. tried whonix check and didnt work and bash -xwhonixcheck --verbose

2 and ran whonix check on whonix-gateway NOTHING IS WORKING. I NEED HELP

Does the Tor Browser Bundle work on the host?

yes it does but it is not working threw whonix

What version of Whonix are you using? When did you see this happening, was it working before and now it isn’t? Are you a VirtualBox user?

I am running 4.3.20 for windows hosts and It hasn’t been working for me at all. I need help on getting this to work, please

Could be an issue with VirtualBox. Can you try please if you get a non-Whonix VM to work in VirtualBox? Such as running Debian in a VirtualBox VM?

See this chapter:

That has to be fixed first. Re-install of VirtualBox could work. If you said “no” during VirtualBox network driver install, it won’t work.

By the way, in case you haven’t noticed yet, we advice against using Windows hosts anyhow.

Check if your time/date are correct. I just had this same issue and fixed this way.
