When I open gateway it works fine it doesn’t freeze up my computer. But then I open gateway and workstation together and the whole computer freezes and I already fixed my RAM and shut off my background apps that’s running. I have a windows 10 computer. What do I do or what can be the problem or is it something else I can use instead of whonix.
Low RAM
Seems pretty much like a too little RAM issue. You can try reduce both gateway and workstation RAM to 256 MB to start a terminal-only version. If that does not freeze, that would be further confirmation of a low RAM issue.
How much RAM does your host have?
Can you check how RAM fills up (live updating graph) as you start Whonix?
