I can work around this issue but wanted to report it. Been happening for a few weeks
Update fails with signature verification failed due to 1FC3… key being created after the --not-after date.
If I run the update immediately again it usually works fine next or subsequent time. I can run the workstation update with no issues. Sys-whonix works fine except for this update issue
Might be related to time synchronization and bootclockrandomization. If you wait until the sdwdate-gui icon in the system tray reports that time synchronization is complete before updating, does updating work more reliably?
Thank you, I’ll check sdwdate status (success) before updating. I generally wait for computer to settle before updating
I experienced this same error in qubes update for debian-13-xfce so it is not a whonix thing. Perhaps Debian related, have not experienced it with fedora updates
