I have noticed this on a Whonix 9 Gateway that was just imported into VirtualBox.
The problem seems to persist after apt-get update && apt-get dist-upgrade
Unfortunately the content of the screen seems to be overwritten, since I can only see the start of that message part, not the actual “failed” status in red that caught my eye during boot. If this content goes to some log file, please tell me which one (I’m a Debian noob) so I could have a look there and eventually try to extract it and attach here if it’s needed.
