Does Whonix 14 will support Gnome desktop as default of LXDE,XFCE as alternative?
Good day,
There have been discussions of changing the standard desktop in the future, though they haven’t been concluded yet. Either way, you may install and use any desktop environment of your choice.

You are free to try other DEs but some features such as warnings when opening links won’t work and of course if you break anything you get to keep all the pieces.
