Seems Live mode is not in the grub menu after the recent update, is it my problem only?
Is grub-live-dracut installed? Try running sudo apt install grub-live-dracut and see if that brings back the option.

Newest version has been install. Is it Whonix-Xfce-17.0.x.x.ova too old?
Is upgrade-nonroot enough is install Live mode?
