I’ve noticed the docs rarely explain how to use non‑free services (for example, how to anonymously sign up for and use Google or Microsoft accounts). While avoiding such services is important for privacy, users may sometimes need them; I’d like to contribute tutorials covering these “grey” areas if that’s acceptable.

Thanks for your reply. The first thing I want to write right now is how to obtain a phone number anonymously using cryptocurrency, then share a hands-on review of major SMS service platforms based on my experience. With roughly 80% of online services now requiring a phone number, it’s becoming very difficult to do anything online without one.

A policy on non-freedom services may be difficult. Is riseup.net a freedom software web service? Is even whonix.org?
