  • Do I need to run ‘timesync’ on both 'Gateway & 'Workstation again? Do ‘whonixcheck’ again?

  • 'Gateway has icons for ‘Tor Restart’, ‘Tor Reload’, Reload Firewall. When do I use those?

You don’t need to do anything.

  • Tor reload: after making changes to Tor config
  • Tor restart after making changes to Tor config that don’t work with reload (ports below 1024)
  • Firewall reload: after making firewall changes
