Being consciously aware of the versioning between different releases of Whonix Qubes is important for helping us test, support, and develop the system.
Since the new Whonix Qubes has been incorporated into the Qubes repos, the releases published by the Qubes team are likely to be the default releases that we support.

Whonix Qubes Binary Release Versioning
So far, as of this posting, there has only been one Whonix binary release by the Qubes team, which includes two VM templates (Whonix-Gateway and Whonix-Workstation).
These initial current template version numbers are:
