Hi , i wanna ask about the security or lack of it when using a docking station with a librebooted gateway device, can the dock station compromise the gateway laptop, i read about the usb protocol security, but i don’t know if dock stations use that.
i am going with the dock station because i can’t find an opensource gigabit usb to ethernet connector they are all 10/100 , which will kill performance for my setup.
if anyone knows of an opensource usb to ethernet connector please share a link
