Upgrading Whonix 9.4 -> 9.6

Hi,
I enabled Whonix repositories by doing “sudo whonix_repository”.
After doing “sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade” in “whonixcheck” I still see 9.4 version.

[INFO] [whonixcheck] Whonix News Download Result: There is no news file available for Whonix Build Version 9.4 yet.

Do I have to import new Vbox images of Whonix 9.6?

After doing "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" in "whonixcheck" I still see 9.4 version.
This is expected. Build version always stays as is. Because it's the version of the build that you imported.
Do I have to import new Vbox images of Whonix 9.6?
No. As long as it says it's current and as long nowhere else it says it should be updated, it's fine.
