I have the same problem, but only when I try to write the command sudo service tor@default restart in Whonix Gateway, after that the Internet stops working at Whonix Gateway and in Tor Control Panel it says Retrieving network status and then after a while it goes away by itself, but it takes a very long time and it’s not clear what the problem is.

The problem was because of the obfs4 bridges, I added new obfs4 bridges and everything became ok, if something goes wrong again, I will write here
