Is there a fix for the infinite tab opening TBB does when enabling TOR_TRANSPROXY when using it with a VPN? This is triggered if I or the website open a new tab by unintentionally.

Sounds complex. Would probably require Generic Bug Reproduction.

I think I found the pref that causes this and will experiment with it and report back.

Yep setting extensions.torbutton.launch_warning to false fixes this. I need to document this on the wiki.
