Tor Browser 8.0a9

#1

Tor Browser 8.0a9 – based on Firefox 60.1 ESR – works in Whonix. Nice.

Fixed:

-> Nice green onion for onion services
-> Whonix landing page is back!
-> We finally have sandboxing for Tor Browser! But, “user namespaces” is a “no” under the Sandbox section of about:support - Whonix or other issue?
-> Everything seems functional e.g. New Identity etc.
-> Works with Firejail & AppArmor profiles, but tons of AppArmor denied msgs now
-> check.torproject.org strangely says:

Congratulations. This browser is configured to use Tor.

Your IP address appears to be: XX.XX.XX.XXX

However, it does not appear to be Tor Browser.

Why not full sandboxing in Whonix (as is the case in normal VMs e.g. Firefox in Fedora 28)?

Updated Tor Browser profile fro TB 8.0a9.

The new sandbox support is for Windows. Linux TBB sandboxing is dead and disabled for builds as of 2 weeks ago.

Awesome news!

It seems this commit has not been pushed into the Whonix repository, causing the GPG verification failure when downloading 8.0a9 with tb-updater.

This should be sorted in all Whonix 14 repos.
