The screen twitches on Virtualbox 7.1.4

I have Host Windows 11 and Host Fedora, when using the Virtualbox 7.1 version and above in Whonix, the interface twitches (I don’t know how to explain, but regularly in some places of the programs of the interface, it twitches), when returning to the youngest version of VirtualBox Problems No.

Hello,

I am confused. You say you have host Windows 11 and Host Fedora. Are you saying that you have tried whonix on two different computers, one with windows 11 and another with fedora? And both of them exhibit the same behavior?

Does the interface of programs twitch for specific programs, or does the behavior happen in all programs?

What screen resolution are you using within Whonix or outside Whonix?

Have you tried other virtual machines that are not whonix, in order to determine if the problem is whonix-specific, as opposed to virtualbox-specific?

I used 1 computer, but tried the quality of Win 11 and Fedora in the quality of the host. And in both cases, when using the VBOX version, this problem is manifested for more than 7.1.
Now I have Virtualbox 7.0.22 and it works well.

I did not check the operation of other guest cars, only 2 guest cars Whonix workstation.

The problem occurs in all programs (Telegram, Tor Browser) - periodic jerks on the screen.

I experimented with the installation of ISO guest additions and back to return to the guest additions of Debian.

If you wish to troubleshoot this, Testing with a Debian VM required.

(links to the Kicksecure wiki because Whonix is based on Kicksecure)

Installed Debian and guest additions, there is no measurement of problems.
I have not tried to install the clean version of Whonix and test it on it.

I have been using Whonix Workstation for more than a year.
After updating Virtualbox at 7.1, such a problem appeared. Returned to 7.0.12 and the problem disappeared.

In this case, VirtualBox Generic Bug Reproduction is required.

Installed Debian Bookworm and guest additions. There is no such problem there.

Vbox 7.1.4 R165100
The VMSVGA adapter without 3D acceleration is worth.
Host Win 11 23H2 or Fedora.
I have been using this Whonix Workstation guest system for more than a year.

Whonix doesn’t write source code that might cause this. There’s also been no related changes for a long time related to desktop / gui / screen.

Maybe hardware specific.

I doubt additional assistance can be provided here in this forum.

Your only chance is to contact upstream directly.

The problem occurs only if the guest machine is open in window mode

Virtualbox 7.1.4
Installed the latest version of Debian - it works fine, there are no problems.
Imported the latest version of Whonix
I did not change the settings. If you open in window mode with frames, then the windows and elements of the interface for all windows inside Whonix (Gateway and Workstation) are twitched.
