TBB-Whonix Specific Issues

These are trivial issues that only comes out in TBB inside whonix:

  • When you open TBB , the whonix welcome page will be ticket as an issue with NoScript:

  • When you go to TBB -> Preferences -> Network Proxy -> Settings
    you cant press “Ok” because it asks you to put the correct port for the SOCKS Host. The only way to get out is to press on “Cancel”

How to reproduce?

make TBB security settings to “safer” , restart TBB or go to Whonix homepage. Press on NoScript button and you will find “file:” there.

if you want the exact output as that image:

go to about:addons -> Then press on Preferences -> Appearance -> Tick High contrast appearance then check again

JS warning from NS not good when opening TBB

a TBB without warnings that even you cant get rid from them

Change Whonix TBB home page to be compatible with NS
