Updated to Qubes 4.3 and Whonix 18. All my manually upgraded whonix’s seem to be doing well.
However, I installed fresh whonix-workstation-18 and whonix-gateway-18 templates as well.
Then I updated them.
Then I cloned whonix-workstation-18 and made the clone to be Unrestricted Admin mode because I use sudo on a daily basis, using these instructions:
This worked, AppVMs based on this clone now allow sudo as in Whonix 17.
However, the clone workstation template itself will not boot. I’ve started from scratch, just following the few steps above to confirm and got the same results. I extended qrexec_timeout but they still never boot.
