[Solved] Tor Browser installer didn't set "transparent proxy" automatically

Hi, I installed tor browser by clicking on the icon in desktop of Whonix workstation.
After it downloaded and installed tor browser, when I started it, it was in “use recommended settings”" (The first option) in “preferences” of onion button.
But shouldn’t “transparent proxy” get activated automatically on by whonix scripts?

No. Whonix doesn’t modify Tor Browser. That makes a much more robust implementation and is more immune against changes by The Tor Project. Connections to 127.0.0.1:9150 are forwarded to Whonix-Gateway by rinetd. This is described here in detail:
