[SOLVED]DNS of VPN for Workstation

Following the guide here I am updating my resolv.conf.
Upon typing sudo route I get:

Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref Use Iface
default gateway 0.0.0.0 UG 50 0 0 tun1
default gateway 0.0.0.0 UG 100 0 0 enp3s0
10.8.0.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 50 0 0 tun1
unassigned.reve gateway 255.255.255.255 UGH 100 0 0 enp3s0
192.168.1.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 100 0 0 enp3s0
192.168.124.0 0.0.0.0 255.255.255.0 U 0 0 0 virbr0

Do I need my VPN’s DNS to configure my VPN setup? I contacted my VPN and they said they don’t use a DNS as far as they know, but maybe they or I are misunderstanding something about Whonix. Do I even need to configure the DNS if my VPN provider doesn’t use it?

Solved, looks like it’s not necessary to do anything to the resolv.conf
