Following the guide here I am updating my resolv.conf.
Upon typing sudo route I get:

Do I need my VPN’s DNS to configure my VPN setup? I contacted my VPN and they said they don’t use a DNS as far as they know, but maybe they or I are misunderstanding something about Whonix. Do I even need to configure the DNS if my VPN provider doesn’t use it?
Solved, looks like it’s not necessary to do anything to the resolv.conf
