"Save the machine state" good idea or not?

When you close the VirtualBox instance you can either shutdown or choose to “Save the machine state” which I suppose is something like hibernate?

Is there any problem to do that security wise?
Idea is to have your work area ready when you open the VB instead of setting it up every time you power it on.

Saving VM state s very flaky and you’ll likely end up with a corrupted session losing that state. Best thing you can do is take a snapshot when the VM is turned off.
