[Resolved] Permission Denied when trying to access LUKS USB from TBB

I am using Whonix version 17 under VirtualBox. This is a brand-new installation.

I have a LUKS USB volume mounted in the Whonix workstation (pass-through from VirtualBox) and I can access it just fine with Thunar (I can read/create/delete), but whenever I try to download from the tor browser straight to the drive, I get a “permission denied” error.

“Error opening directory ‘media/user/{uuid}’: Permission denied”

Is there a setting I need to change? (I tried posting a screenshot, but I guess that’s not allowed)

Yep, adjusting the apparmor profile to allow access to the mount point did the trick.
