The Wiki mentions Remmina, but I want to ask if anyone has done and has any comments about the RustDesk project? At first glance, it looks quite inviting.
Tried it a couple of months ago, Linux to Windows, worked flawlessly. Simplest, least buggy remote desktop so far. Way late to this but for anyone else wondering, about user experience, at least.
Personally, Iām staying away after reading this:

While writing this post, I was looking for a FOSS alternative to TeamViewer and AnyDesk, i.e. remote desktop capabilities on machines behind a firewall and NAT (mobile network without public IP), but RustDesk does not inspire my confidence right now.
I found another solution and it works great: Remmina + Zerotier!
How about IPv6 instead of ZeroTier?
I use x2go, would recommend someone to take a look at it:
