Given that the conversation there went kind of south for reasons I don’t entirely understand, I will reiterate here what I posted there: The moderation teams for Kicksecure and Whonix do not tolerate abuse of other individuals on our forums and do not condone them anywhere else.
I’ll also follow it up with this; Kicksecure and Whonix do not mind criticism. They are simply tools to help people achieve their (legal) goals securely and privately. They may not be the best for every possible use case. They may not even be suitable for some use cases. unman’s use of their own Tor tunneling solution is not in any way an affront to the Whonix project, it just means they use tools that suit their usecase and have determined Whonix does not suit their usecase. So please, to anyone reading this, do not bring accusations against Qubes developers (or anyone else) here, especially not for saying that they have reasons to not use Whonix.
