this one appeared when tor asked me to update , so i pressed on update; but it didnt actually get updated, the operation failed.

(i was just talking about mknod , well here we go => mkdir)

This is the same problem reported in Whonix Forum. It has to do with version of the AppArmor profile you are using.

If you want to update Tor Browser with its own updater, you should install the latest profile because TBB 4.5ax creates new updating directories.

For information, the relevant part in the message is "Name:" which gives the name of the denied file.

The recommended practice for reporting AppArmor message is the following:
In a terminal, run

sudo tail -f /var/log/kern.log

All the denied messages will be shown as they happen. Paste them between code tags (code /code inside square brackets).
