I’m new to whonix, but familiar with tor, tails.
I spend an hour or so reading the docs and forums but I’m still unclear about how tools that aren’t pre-installed / documented (e.g. nmap) behave;

is there any chance of ip leakage etc if I just install tools like nmap and ftp (on the workstation) and start running them? I’m guessing not based on Protocol Leak and Fingerprinting Protection but I just wanted check!

should I be trying to torify and uwt (stream isolation) them anyway, even if I’m protected by the gateway?
