Missing "eject" package

I’ve downloaded Whonix-XFCE-16.0.9.0.ova and after importing and running VM, noticed an error in Thunar file manager:

Failed to eject “SD CARD”.
Error ejecting /dev/sdb: Error spawning command-line `eject ‘/dev/sdb’':
Failed to execute child process “eject” (No such file or directory) (g-exec-error-quark, 8).

Installing “eject” package solved the problem.
Shouldn’t be this small package preinstalled?

I think the correct way to address this is to make eject be added to the thunar package debian/control file.

Yes, 102 kB is not much… I don’t ever remember having this problem on plain debian so don’t know why this happened.
