Hi, is there a way to make minergate run on whonix ?

Whonix is based on Debian. Installation of software should be done like you would on any other Debian box
To answer your question:
If you do not find information on this subject after searching the Whonix forum, you may be the first one to try this. (its not in the whonix wiki)
It may be up to you to get this working. I would imagine that it is possible.
Don’t waste your Time,Energy and Hashrate on Minergate. They steal shares and aid Botnets, also their closed source Miner is slower than most Open Source Miners.
Use xmr-stak, build it for yourself, it’s not that difficult and use a proper Pool.
