True, each Whonix-Gateway has its own sdwdate-gui systray. But every Whonix-Workstation is getting an entry in sdwdate-gui. When right clicking on sdwdate-gui:
sys-whonix
anon-whonix
disp…
To see this both sys-whonix and anon-whonix need to be running.
no special stuff with GW as mentioned only change name and based it on gw-template and give network to newly created GW-appvm as per:
The only requirement is that the newly created sys-whonix is based on the whonix-gw-16 Template and has a distinctive VM name, so it is not confused with other VMs.
Multiple Whonix-Workstation ™ + https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Multiple_Whonix-Workstation#If_you_are_using_the_default_sys-whonix_as_gateway works for me:
There is only 1 sdwdate-gui systray started by sys-whonix.
Multiple VMs (sys-whonix, anon-whonix, anon-whonix-2, disp2482) are all showing up.
Multiple Whonix-Workstation ™ + https://www.whonix.org/wiki/Multiple_Whonix-Workstation#If_you_are_using_a_gateway_other_than_sys-whonix also works for me.
There is only 1 sdwdate-gui systray started by sys-whonix-2.
Multiple VMs (sys-whonix, anon-whonix, anon-whonix-2, disp2482) are all showing up.
I see, in this case i leave it to other users if they will have the same thing. (unlikely that someone will figure out there is something missing/broken…)
