Have anyone heard about this scheme? This guide(anonymousplanet . org)(i can’t post links) recommends using it, in their comparison table Tor->VPN->Tor has the best anonimity. Have you heard of this scheme, whats your opinion about it?

Tor>VPN>Tor seems overkill unless you are concerned about space aliens hunting you down with correlation attacks. The VPN provider can also see all traffic after the VPN stage, so if you have an untrustworthy VPN, you are no more better than VPN>
The guide says that the method is really only good if you need to worry about deanonymization of your IP from the whole circuit after the VPN, and your VPN is not being monitored for circuits to it. The guide also admits that stream isolation gets nullified with any VPN that comes after Tor, which you really do not want unless you are only using a single application on Whonix. It also admits that this is slow.
The Tor Project has advocated for Tor only for years. There’s a reason.
