KVM installation on Kicksecure baremetal - apt killed by OOM during Tor download

Hello, I’m trying to install KVM/QEMU on Kicksecure baremetal (ASUS Zenbook AMD Ryzen AI 7 350). Every time I run apt install, it connects via SOCKS5 proxy through Tor (port 9050) and gets killed by the OOM killer during download. I have 14GB RAM and 4GB swap. How can I install packages properly?

Where is the OOM occurring, on the host or in one of the VMs?

C pas Kicksecure c’est whonix le problème, en faite j’aimerai avoir whonix avec la version de mon pc et installer whonix dans kvm depuis sudo dans mes souvenirs

“On the host (Kicksecure baremetal). I don’t have KVM installed yet, so no VMs. The OOM killer kills apt during package download on the host itself
