Keyring in whonix-17?

Mounting a LUKS encrypted USB drive in whonix-17 after entering the password in Thunar File Manager the following error message appears:

Failed to mount …
Error storing passphrase in keyring (The name org.freedesktop.secrets was not provided by any .service files).

The drive is decrypted and mounted anyways, but to see this message every time is annoying. It first appeared after upgrading from whonix-16 to whonix-17.

What can be done to get rid if this error?

After entering this into a search engine the first suggestion I found was:

sudo apt install gnome-keyring
