Explanation of the DEB822 Source Format — RepoLib documentation explains exactly a number of reasons why this is a good idea. It’s a bit surprising it’s taken the Debian world so long to adopt something sane like this. We’ve had this in Fedora’s yum.repos.d for a very long time.
Is this decided nowadays? I haven’t tried whonix-18 release on QubesOS 4.3-rc3 (I am awaiting for the proper release of 4.3). Is whonix-18 using the new debian.sources format?
