When I try to Install the whonix CLI and at the end of the installation It asks If I want to start whonix directly and then i say YES and then this error always pop up–
I have checked my BIOS that intel virtualisation technology Is ofc enabled, I have an
Intel Core i7-4790K It says It supports vt-x on Intels website any solution on what the problem could be?
Thanks!

whonix-xfce-installer-cli: [ERROR]: Virtual Machine Startup Result: FAIL
- This is likely happening due to the warnings that have been reported above.
- The installer succeeded with download and import, but
- failed to start the virtual machines (VMs).
- The root cause for this issue is likely not the installer.
- This issue would likely also happen if the user tried to manually start the VMs.
- Resolving these issues (as per documentation hyperlinks above) would likely resolve this issue.
zsh: exit 106 whonix-xfce-installer-cli
Older systems (around the age of your system) oftentimes have virtualization disabled in the BIOS. Check in your BIOS settings for something like “VT-x” or “Virtualization Technology”. If it’s off, switch it on and that should fix the issue.

Thats already on and the first thing I checked ofc, This issue happens when I try to run whonix inside kali with virtualbox also, But yeah I guess my machine Is too old eitherway! been struggling with this issue for months.
What’s your host OS? If you’re using Windows 10 or 11, you might have Hyper-V conflicting with VirtualBox. If you’re using Linux, check if /dev/kvm
exists (if it does, that’s a good sign, if it doesn’t, then your machine may have buggy or weird hardware/firmware).

I must say Im quite new to linux I switched from windows 10 just couple of weeks ago I have been messing around with whonix vms in virtualbox and VMware for like over a year tho…
This looks like you’re running Linux Mint in a VM, and then you’re trying to run Whonix in a nested VM? If so, virtualization - Virtualbox enable nested vtx/amd-v greyed out - Stack Overflow should help. Note that Whonix will probably perform very slowly in this scenario, but it has a chance of at least working.

If so, please note and follow instructions here:
Note:
Thank you sir!
VBoxManage modifyvm command worked! and now the vt-x Is enabled and not greyed out in virtualbox! :))
