Install anon-apps-config on Whonix-Gateway by default?

pros:

cons:

  • have to keep in mind during development it is also installed by default on Whonix-Gateway, therefore could not add dependencies there
  • extraneous (confusing for reviewers) files in Whonix-Gateway
  • does things in Whonix-Gateway which don’t apply to it (such as tox.ini)
  • but apart form that does no harm

I think it should be. The cons aren’t very important.

I was mistaken. Is already the case. whonix-shared-packages-recommended-cli Depends: on anon-apps-config.
