Indymedia gpg keyserver

it appears this server is down again. i have not been able to find any information explianing why. is there a reason why whonix defaults to go with the indymedia gpg keyserver? given how long it took for indymedia to restore its keyserver on tor last time, i’m not sure they are the best service.

as of torbirdy 1.3, the default hkp server for a vanilla torbirdy install is hkp://qdigse2yzvuglcix.onion. it’s working fine.

Latest torbirdy release is 0.1.2, not 1.3.

https://github.com/ioerror/torbirdy/blob/master/components/torbirdy.js indeed uses hkp://qdigse2yzvuglcix.onion.

Thanks, tempest.
