Importing .ova file in virtual machine manager ? I need help

hello everyone

i need help with importing whonix .ova in virtual machine manager ( kvm based )

on ubuntu

i simply don’t know how to do it, and the answers which AI is giving me are super complicated

i am pretty sure there must be an easier way

i know how to do it with virtualbox

but i would preffer to use something fully opensource

in the worst case i will just surender and do it with virtualbox

Have you tried following the official directions? They’re somewhat long, but that’s because importing Whonix VMs with KVM is somewhat tricky. See:

For what it’s worth, VirtualBox is fully open-source.
