If a build fails....

If a build fails, or doesn’t complete all the way, do I need to start from scratch by reinstalling debian, or can I just start the build process over?

Depends on where it failed and your skills. Easiest is fresh
installation. With knowledge, it’s not really required.

Well I noticed after a failed build, that on reboot it still changed the name of the OS the Whonix from Debian. So I wasn’t sure if I needed to reinstall debian all over again, or if I can just rerun the build script after fixing the errors.
