I2P comes to Debian sid. Expected to land in stable-next. This should remove the need for adding 3rd party repos.

There are standard ways to deal with Debian starting daemons by default:
Syndie the distributed privacy forum software is seeing a re-write. Would be worthy to include if its packaged in Debian also
