how to write two strings exactly below each other using generic gui tool

As per screenshot:
{F24}

The version numbers are exactly below each other. Using the <blockquote> tag here. But it’s ugly. Too many empty lines in between.

The dates are not exactly below each other, which looks also bad.

Is it possible to write them exactly below each other? Any idea @troubadour?

Whatever, the dates are still not aligned. I guess we would need a mono font to achieve it.

<tt> alone doesn’t work. What might work are tables. This example looks good:

Somewhat fixed using tables:
output; refactoring · Kicksecure/tb-updater@d9a8775 · GitHub

But it would require another change in generic_gui_tool. Changing from 500 to 590.
        if messageHeight <= maximumHeight:
            self.resize(590, messageHeight + 60)
        else:
            self.resize(590, maximumHeight - 20)
Otherwise the Previous Signature Creation Date line gets too long and broken. Does that change look sane?
