I am in Terminal and I am trying to get Waydroid to work.
For VM’s I need to edit the configuration file.
In the bottom corner of the terminal it says ^T to execute. If I press ^ on my keyboard (german layout) it does nothing. If I press the ^ key in like a browser I have to press it twice and then it also does ^^ and not ^.
How can I fix this? Found nothing online.
You’re most likely using a CLI (command line interface) editor. So you’d need to look up the documentation for that editor and check out the support resources for that editor.
Unspecific to Whonix:
Otherwise you might get very far by using GUI (graphical user interface) based editors instead:
(Whonix is based on Kicksecure.)
Some terminals might have settings that affect key combinations. Check the terminal settings to ensure that Ctrl+T is configured to execute.
