How should the time be set when using Tor before VPN?

I followed the guide http://www.dds6qkxpwdeubwucdiaord2xgbbeyds25rbsgr73tbfpqpt4a6vjwsyd.onion/wiki/Tunnels/Connecting_to_Tor_before_a_VPN

In the “Deactivate Miscellaneous Proxy Settings” section it says “For some applications, this is impossible: sdwdate”. So I assume this means that sdwdate no longer works in this configuration. How should I be setting the time so that it is in sync with the VPN’s time? Should I install ntp? When I checked one of the recommended leak test sites http://check2ip.com/ there was warning message of a time mismatch.

Did you read this page yet?

Maybe that page can help to discourage any considerations of using any VPNs.

When you dig a deep hole, jump in and then ask why things don’t look sunny from down there so to speak…

This presupposes a probably incorrect assumption.
How do I set my time being sync with my Tor exit relay?
How do I set my time being sync with my ISP?
No need to bother.
