How much does DHCP affect anonymity and security?

Is using a static IP more secure and anonymous than DHCP?

How likely are mitm attacks? How important is the information DHCP gives?

Would DHCP benefit security in any way?

I’ve found this and it seems like static IPs are better for security and anonymity than DHCP but I’d prefer another opinion.

Nothing is better than putting extra Workstations you care about on their own separate internal network for many reasons. With static IPs you are theoretically safer in that you aren’t increasing attack surface by running an extra daemon.

DHCP is not designed resist malicious manipulation by untrusted machines on the LAN.

Thanks! I’ll use a static IP then.
