Hidden Service address privacy

Hi Patrick, I want to ask about something that crossed my mind.

Lets say I configure a Hidden Service but only for personal use and didn’t give out its address to anyone. Can its address still be crawled/known to any third party?

Summary: If no one has its address no one will be able to find it and so I don’t need to worry about configuring as if its a publicly accessible service?

I am not sure, but I think the answer is yes. Saw it discussed somewhere a while ago. Less speculative answers may be obtained from tor.stackexchange or tor-talk mailing list.

Answer is yes the address is known and the details of a hidden service could be dumped by python scripts.
