Free of charge web site with access from the clearnet

Is it possible to get an onion hidden service, host from own PC and make it accessable to the clearnet users? There was a recommendation to use pagekite trick but pagekite requires payment. Are there fully free-of-charge ways?

Not that I know. The overview can be found here:

There is one possible solution. You can get free domain address at https://freedns.afraid.org/
Then suppose i decide to host on own pc. Can i route via some tor-to-clearnet site my onion site to that freedns domain name that i register at afraid.org?
Also why not make channel at freenode, that oftc has not been accessible for weeks.

Let’s go with a decentralized solution like torchat or retroshare. By the way you can publish your torchat id in your contact info. It would promote torchat use. And retroshare for support channel. Also we could share files.

Retroshare is not a candidate for being installed by default. As per Whonix ™ Default Application Policy. Not installable from Debian.

I don’t want to have lots of private chats on TorChat. Time is not unlimited.
