Hi guys. I’m new to whonix and linux. So it might sound a little stupid. When I mounted my external hard drive, a lock icon appeared next to the folder. How can I solve this?
Mounted it how? Did you connect it via USB to the guest or host?
The lock can be a sign of not enough permissions to access or that it is encrypted. Hard to know without further info.

Usb to the host…
Try adjusting drive permissions so you can move files to it.
